Enabling connection identifiers

The WebSpeed Messenger must be enabled to check for connection identifiers and to create them if they do not already exist. The easiest way to do this is to modify the WebSpeed Messenger properties in Progress Explorer.

To enable connection identifiers:

Choose Properties from the pop-up menu for the WebSpeed Messenger node in the Progress Explorer.

Choose the Advanced Features node:

Select the Session Connection ID toggle box to enable the feature.

Choose OK to save the change. Restart the Web Server if the Messenger is WSASP, WSISA, or WSNSA. You do not have to restart the Web Server for CGIIP Messengers.
